About the Author:
Jennifer Merciér has been trained as a traditional midwife and has helped hundreds of women give birth gently by instilling patience in the labor process thus facilitating less trauma to the pelvic organs. With a long history of working within medicine as a fertility clinician she brings her perspective for women enduring medically assisted regimes such as IUI/IVF and also for those seeking a less invasive route. Medicine is at a loss to helping women who have surgical scar tissue accompanied by pain. Merciér Therapy can be a welcome addition with a woman’s road to recovery.

The Shared Journey Fertility Program is a gentle and very effective approach to a conscious conception. The programmed was developed by Jennifer Mercier, PhD. Heather Maynard is a certified Mercier Practioner.

An IVF cycle can be very costly, rigorous and physically tiring. Many times you’ll need to endure more than one IVF cycle to achieve a pregnancy, therefore Jennifer developed the Shared Journey program so that you are able to help limit your number of cycles. She will help you create a healthy environment within your pelvis to ensure a successful first IVF cycle.

You are encouraged to become educated, explore and better understand your own body’s rhythms prior to going through an IVF cycle. The Shared Journey program will help you recognize natural signs of fertility. Building a solid foundation is a healthy non-invasive solution to many fertility problems. Keep in mind that this program can be used as a stand alone regime or as an adjunct to medically assisted reproductive technology.

Today more than ever women are suffering on many levels from pelvic reproductive organ dysfunction with very few options to help assist them to better health. This unique, one-of-a-kind advanced training class addresses common women’s health issues such as fertility challenges, pelvic pain, sexual abuse trauma, c-section recovery, gynecological surgical preparation and recovery, childbirth, and medical fertility technologies such as IVF (in-vitro fertilization). You will leave this class with extensive knowledge of a variety of pelvic surgeries, drugs, terminology and how to relate in conversation with medical professionals. Hormonal trends are also reviewed.

The goal of our work is to incorporate movement back into the pelvic organs and surrounding structures while increasing blood flow for optimal function. The Mercier technique is gentle, effective, easy to learn and integrate immediately into your practice.
